Last year, Björk and Dirty Projectors played a benefit show put together by Brandon Stosuy of Stereogum. A mutual admiration resulted in the recording of the EP Mount Wittenberg Orca. The 7 song EP benefits the National Geographic Society Oceans Project -- a worthwhile charity in these times if ever one existed.
You can purchase the full 7-track recordings at mountwittenbergorca.com for a minimum $7 donation and maximum donation of $100.

Can I tell you something pause-worthy? Ok, maybe that's pushing it, but there are few bands I have been as consistently excited by as I have for the past six years with Zero 7. By the same token, I'm very taken with master remixer/producer/DJ Carl Craig. Carl Craig creates ...

Because it's really good, I'm happy to do so. This track is a piece of mezmerisingly dark, haunting pop music. Does it remind me of The Knife? Absolutely, and in the best ways possible. But it's much more nuanced and pop sensible to me than The Knife.
"City Lights" seems simply, to me, further proof that the Swedes have perfected the craft of electronic ...
