David Byrne, the clever and inventive world music impresario and former Talking Head, has joined forces with multi-instrumentalist and turntablist Norman Cook, better known to the world as Fatboy Slim to pursue an experimental new song cycle entitled Here Lies Love. The boxed set, containing the completed works, will be released on 23 February 2010 by Todomundo/Nonesuch Records.

I'm not going to lie to anyone: this update is being written by someone who has always felt Sade could do no wrong. Being a fan of Sade's sultry voice and soul-searching music for many, many years, I've listened to this single, "Solider of Love" from her forthcoming album of the same title and... I'm not really ready to make comment on this one just yet. It's definitely a Sade track. That's the most I can say myself right now. What do you think of it?
