The new Bloc Party album Intimacy will be released in physical form by Wichita/Atlantic Records on October 27th, just a week after this song, “Talons”, is physically released as the first single. You already know (if you purchased the album’s digital release) that this track is not included in the digital version of the album — but is a value-added bonus for those of us who purchased the digital album. The sound, both on the album and the single, marks a noticeable departure from the Bloc Party sound of recent memory, demonstrating that they are sharing a greater kinship of late with Mute Math than, say, PiL.
