A long time ago, E.J. turned me on to Polyrock and I fell head over heels in love with the record that I have. A solid, weird mix of post-punk and spazz rock, this is probably the band that should have influenced many contemporaries (The Dismemberment Plan, Beep Beep, etc.) and probably did. Regardless, the songs are quirky at best, yet with repeated listening, they start to make sense, and that is what I love about Polyrock. I am sure that E.J. will probably mention a lot more information from what I can give you today – seeing as he is the expert in all things Polyrock – but I am here to share songs, and I will share my two favorites off of their self-titled release: (both are right-click, save as)
Polyrock – Shut Your Face
Polyrock – Green For Go
