Another election cycle is behind us, and once again we’ve awoken to a world where the real work is beginning. In 1971, Eugene McDaniels had a point that is worth revisiting every post-election, regardless of who is President. If you read my site or my Twitter on a regular basis, you know how I feel about the struggle and what it represents to all people. Mr. President, we have work to do to make things better — all of us, together. This is the message — remember those who struggled and died for freedom, and recognize that the struggle continues.
