Out on Beatport this coming Tuesday, this remix of Cubic Zirconia‘s “Darko” — a vivacious ode to how NYC rolls after hours –gets a thrashed-out freaqwave remix from Tony Senghore. Consider working it until way after 3AM? I think I’m gonna kick it on Delancey for a while, too.
OUT TUESDAY 7/10 ON BEATPORT
Following the massive Bart B More mix of “Take Me High” (a big-room favorite of DJs from Diplo to Wolfgang Gartner), “Darko” is the latest track from Cubic Zirconia to receive the remix treatment. This time around, the New York trio’s late night ode gets chopped up by the one and only Tommy Trash, who had thousands of fans salivating once he posted a mere snippet of the track to his Soundcloud. TT’s epic festival reworking is joined by two different takes from Tony Senghore (a half-time freakout version and a super-deep house mix) as well as the original “Darko” in main, instrumental and acapella versions.
