Gwen Stefani, Santigold, Kelly Clarkson … yes, I’m a sucker for a good, straight-ahead pop song. When you consider that Alex Kelly hooked up in the band Amungus with Robby Takac (of Goo Goo Dolls) for three years, it’s hard not to hear the influence of that pairing in “Orange Circle“, her newest solo single.
